512 mb MEMORY? WHERE'D IT ALL GO!
so, you get 512 mb memory, but you can onlu y use 32 mb? is this correct? what about the rest of the 512? and if you do get a miniSD card, can you use that for MP3's?
i heard that you get your own MP3 on your computer, shorten it to 10 seconds, e-mail your fone, and boom, your own MP3. is this correct?

It's "can't," not "cant." It's "where," not "were." Oh, and you forgot to capitalize "and" in that last sentence. (But if you REALLY want to get technical, that's an improper use of "due" in your first sentence, you're not supposed to begin sentences with "and," and your last sentence is a run-on.) Apparently, ignorance can't be helped by spell check.
My point: What's with everyone getting up in people's faces for typos/spelling/grammar errors? Isn't this a forum about phones? Half these threads have people jumping ...

so far i think 8100 is crap had it for 72 hrs. all the reasons why i bought it dose not work, and the memory is that a joke 32 mb down from 512mb the mp3 player sounds like trash, and now i cant set voice tones as ringtones and they give me like a gig for just pay ringtones and i had the 7000 and 8 too im returning it i need something else i waited and am dissapointed

i just got my 8100. it seems true that only 32MB can be used. the memory info does not show 512MB anywhere on the phone. plus, it does not give you a choice transfer music files onto the phone from the PC via Get IT Now. i called 611, and they have no idea what i'm talking about. they are just surprised that i got mine before the 15th. i'm thinking of returning this 8100. yuk.
