mp3 Player Question
I understand that right now you can't transfer mp3s from your computer to the phone. But when Verizon launches this music service, will we then be able to transfer our files to the phone? Or does all the music on the phone have to come from the music service?
...
you will only be able to download from their service unfortunatly. when i got the phone the supervisor said he is not happy about it cause it will reduce sales of the phone but that is the only real downside to the phone he said. 32 mb it comes with internally is actually storing a lot for me.
...
Well that sucks. No one is going to want to buy music though their service when they already have the music on their computer. Well that makes my decison a little easier. I might have to go with the E815.
...
You don't need to buy Sh$&%
----> http://www.walmart.com - to download
----> http://www.funformobile.com - to upload on phone 😎
...
so you're telling me that site works? also... what about getting full mp3s onto the phone. use it the same way?
...
yea, I have like 50 "real" ringtones on my phone from using those sites. Unfortunatly you can't "upload" full length songs, because the files are to big. But Its worth using to get free ringtones! 😁
...
yeah i just used it to get a ringtone and it worked. good stuff. thanks 😁
...
It keeps telling me that I have a message at vzwpix.com... and it's not letting me read it on the phone
...
T'hell with ringtones.
I have 100mb+ dj sets I want to listen to.
If I cant play them then I aint interested...

i just got the phone yesterday. it's true. you can't transfer mp3's to the phone. and it only has 32 MB of internal memory, which is different from what they had advertised all along. i think i'm going to return 8100.
...
Well that's retarded. I wonder if there's someway to hack the phone to do it lol.
...
Why should we have to figure out a hack to use a phone we own? Thats kinda like Sony selling a cd player and making it so you can only use cd's they sell on it. Would you stand for that?
Apart from the 500mb SD card capability what else was there to get excited about with this phone compared to any other? Esp at the price they're charging. Crippled bluetooth and crippled mp3 player. For $200? Like hell...
