8100 is RELEASED according to 611
I live in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. I just called 611 to ask when the phone will be released. She responded by saying that it is released!!! She said: "it is no longer listed as coming soon, it is released" I could barley contain myself, but I proceeded to ORDER IT! It is supposed to arrive Tuesday, (just two days after i placed the order!!) and apparently there was no shipping charge!
My advise: if your store keeps giving your different dates (or no dates at all) try calling *611 - it can't hurt.

Called *611 today and tried to order it.
Told it was not released and they have no idea when it will be out.

got the same thing, i was told 2 different things from 611, and 3 different things when they called my verizon wireless closest to me.. what the heck?
