LG VX-8100

I'll be going to a few stores today to see what I can find out. I want the 8100 because of my great experience with the 6000. I'll look at the 815, but I think the build quality will be noticeably less than LG, as when I compare the 6000 to the 710. With me, sturdy build quality is a high priority. I'll give a report sometime this evening.

I went to the Forest Hills store in Queens this afternoon and was told to check with them on Friday. (???) Then I went to the Westbury, Long Island store. A manager said it has not been released yet, but he could show me a non-working demo phone, so I said "great."
When he asked the other manager to get the dummy phone, he said "we don't have it yet." Someone is lying!!! I think they DO have it and they also have the 8100 "real" phones in the back room!!! That's my humble opinion!!! Anyways, hang on, it coming soon!!!!!!! 🤣

Funny you say that, the same thing happened to me in WA State on Saturday. When I asked the tech he said yes they came in today I asked if he could sell them he said I don't see why not, he went in the back and came out 1 minute later to tell me he did'nt have them, no ands ifs or butts about it. I knew he was lying.

Same happened to me on Long Island...in Suffolk County...Went to my VZW store...to look at a working 8100...and buy it as a coworker of mine was able to play around with it the evening before. The rep there told me that it was impossible as they didn't have any. I said I saw them myself last night(making it up)...She said well...uhhh...ummm....we can't show or release them, anymore....
