One thing I don't like - Silence All Hard to Set
Okay, this is being picky, but one feature I liked on my 4400 was the ability to scroll through Vibrate, Normal, or Silence All mode from the * button. On the 8100, the * key only toggles between Normal and Vibrate modes. You have to hit Menu, Settings & Tools, Sounds, Master Volume, and then use the down arrow to get the setting down to Silence All.

On my 6000 not only did the "*" do this but olso an out side button. This gave me grive for there were times I would sit in the car and it would get pushed going fom vib to silent. I missed so many calls because of this. I am glad that is fixed.

Actually, you know what? My 4400 would turn itself on to all silent too, probably I leaned against something and hit the * key or something, and I too, missed several calls because of that. Maybe that is a good thing that they fixed it. 😁

Can you scroll to it using the external side toggle used for volume DURING a call?

Yes, I understood that. My comment was regarding the fact that you also used to be able to put the phone into "Silence All" mode by doing the same thing. I miss that feature from my 4400.
