Should you buy this phone in the stores, or online? If you buy it online, and you want to return it, can you return it in the stores?

and any updates on the (hidden) MP3 player?

You can return a phone to a store no matter where you bought it, in fact it's preferable since it can be verified that you did indeed return it. Otherwise it's just a phone that turned into a puff of mystery.

Now thats not true If you bought it say from a indirect store you have to return it back to were you got the phone. If you buy it from a company store or over the net thats fine. But for place like say a cellular connection you have to go back to that store.

I don't see why you would ever buy a phone from a place other than the actual company unless it's the only place for miles and miles. I'm sure RadioShack employees mean well, but there's too many other things in that store for them to know the ins and outs of wireless service the way someone at a VZW store would. If I need to get my battery tested, maybe, but otherwise I have no business there.

Indirect stores can do a lot more for the customers, but at the same time we can't do some stuff. We are owned personally and we do everything in our power to make our customers happy. If you were around my area and you walked into a company store you would be waiting forever they are the worst people to talk to they spend most of their time playing with their phones. We have more customers coming in and complaining about the poor service in those stores

Yeah but you will see the exact opposite in some areas. Where I work if you don't go to a corporate store you WILL get screwed eventually with either a warranty issue where the privately owned company has to send out the product or with poor customer service after the customer has signed up. We get a ton of complaints about Radio Shack.
