LG VX-8100
Got it coming to suburb of Detroit!
More good news! I'm from a suburb of Detroit, MI and called telesales directly and got ahold of someone who was finally able to order the 8100 for me! First said phone was not officially released yet, but I told him others have already ordered. He checked and sure enough was able to add it to the order. It's supposedly coming from the WH in Tennessee.
On a side note, I tried to order the data cable, but he said only a universal LG data cable was available at this time. Not sure if that one will work with Bitpim or not so I'm just gonna wait on that.

I was going to order mine yesterday (I am in the Detroit Area) but they told me it would not arrive at my home until wednesday. My local store told me they are getting them in on Wednesday and to come in and pick it up. Already on hold for me and hasn't even hit the stores yet. I should have it tomorrow.

I am getting mine in the Orion Area. There are notes on my account to release it to me as soon as it is in stock even before the release date as I had so many problems with my 710 that I was ready to port all 6 of my lines out. I could have had it a long time ago if any of the stores around here would have ever gotten it in. 😡

I'm from Harrison Township. The stores I called before I ordered it through Telesales were Rochester, St Clair Shores, Southfield, a couple Circuit Cities, and Utica. None had it...Only store really 'familar' with it was the Rochester store at M-59 and Rochester Rd.

Had a very helpful telesales rep who said it was available, but he then told me he had to transfer me to cs to finalize the order. He personally informed the cs rep of the phones availability, but her manager refused to release the phone as the launch date is the 15th. so close i could taste it.

I ordered mine in rodchester hill ,Mi on Monday 7/11 they told me it wasnt out yet but some how he was able to order it. It cost me 106.00 out the door. and they gave me the rebate form so I get another 50.00 off I call 611 last night and they gave me a tracking number I will have it at my door tonight at 4:30pm it came from the Memphis warehouse. 😁
