No cable for the 8100
I got a cable for the 7000 which worked on the 8000 but does not work on the 8100. Further more you can not use the express network with the 8100. It has been disabled to allow the V cast to function. There for I can not use the bitpim program with the 8100 to try and enable the MP3 player yet. Tomorrow I will get a blue tooth card for my laptop and try to connect that way.

The USB data cable that works on the "Black" 7000's should work on the 8100...
But the data cable for the "Blue" or "Silver" 7000's will NOT work...

bluetooth don't do jack to the 8100 other than headset, I already tried. You cannot download/upload anything through it.

Well, some folks over on HoFo are doing just that... I'd suggest you try again, or go there are read how they've done it.
