Picture ID???
Does anyone know if this phone has picture id on the external screen? Sorry if this has been answered already.

The LG VX7000 has this feature and I am pretty sure the VX8000 has it as well.
I am 99% sure that the VX8100 has it as well.
I personally think its a pretty cool feature.
With a color screen on the outside I see no reason for Verizon/LG to discontinue this feature.

But can you view incoming picture messages on the outter screen as well? This is on the 8000 and was pretty cool when I saw it on my friend's phone.

Yes just like the LG VX 7000 and 8000 when you have a incoming call the picture id shows up out there. from the outside you can also take pix and flix and view your pix gallery, and play Mp3 when they decide to work.

I meant when you recieve a pix message. On the 8000 the picture will show up on the external display. I wonder if this feature will carry over.

i just got two of the 8100's for my wife and I on Monday from the verizon store (they said they were releasing early because they had no more 8000's). YES, the pix shows on the external display
