CAMERA TRICK WITH THE DELAY

For whoever has a VX8100, you most likely already know about the 1-2 second delay (sometimes it seems like a good 2 long seconds) when taking pictures. The higher the resolution you go, the longer the delay in shutter speed. Lower resolutions have a split second delay that's pretty disregardable. However, the highest resolution has the 1.5-2 second delay. However, i figured out a simple little thing I do to get rid of that delay.

As soon as you take the picture, Hit the CLR button right away. it takes the picture instantly, instead of making you wait those 1.5-2 seconds where your subject may have already moved or etc. That delay was sooo annoying, but this little workaround seems work pretty well.

My 6000 stopped working a little over a month ago as well. Is this as easy to navigate? The keypad similar so I can text easily? (LOL, some of the keypads are uncomfortable and you have to pound on them to get the 2nd or 3rd letter) Does it light up like the 6000? That kinda drove me crazy though after a while. What about the ringtones? With the 6000 I had Track Magnet / Sony Music Box, you know actual clips of songs (not midi techno notes)...
Thanks!

Yes it does, although you must turn it on manually.

you can turn on the flash by simply hitting the flash button on the left side of the phone; instead of having to go into the phone's menu system and then enabling it like the E815.

the keypad layout is exactly the same as the VX6000. it lights up all blue and much brighter then the vx6000. if you liked that phone, then you'll defintely like the vx8100. same feel, same size almost, same look, same keypad layout, ... just with a lot of upgraded elements.

Thank you. I did not know you could activate the flash with the side button. Still lots of tricks to learn. We need to start separate threads for each category of tips.
