Ok just got the phone last night ,but I dont see the option to vibrate then ring? Either its vibrate only or ring only. This sucks since I like to leave it in my pocket and sometimes grab it before it rings.

let me hand u a tissue 😢

Thats a real mature answer, thanks a lot for nothing!
...
what do you want? someone from LG or verizon to say "Hey guess what Pbaman?! we just added a new feature to the LG VX8100! you can now use a VIBRATE THEN RING OPTION! just for you!"
...
you know frankiewawa, your a real jerk!!!!!.. with people like you, no sure needs any enemies.
Maybe Pbaman was just looking for someone to understand his frustration.. You didn't have to be such an idiot..
Thanks for your compassion.. but with that kind, who needs it!

It's a valid question. You monkeys that think your witty by making fun of a legit question advertise your immaturity.
I want a phone that does both simultaneously, in an ideal world. My current phone does vibe, then ring, and it's better than having to choose one or the other.
...
how old are you?? 🙄
...
It's problbly a standard LG thing. If you push the side volume key up on all new LG phones, you will hit a "vibe and high" option, which will put the phone on a simultaneous vibrate and ring feature. That is the only way to do it. Vibe then ring is a motorola feature. Nokias and some samsungs will also wibe and ring.
...
LGs before the 4400 had this feature, but as far as I know, since then they took it out. I feel your pain.
...
Here's how you do it:
Go to settings, sounds, call sounds, call vibrate, select "on". I tried it out and it will ring and vibrate at the same time.
Hope this helps!!
...
haha, it WOULD help, but I CAN'T GET THE **** PHONE YET!
...
Yes the phone does vibrate and ring at the same time. Thanks again
...
For those of you who are coming down on Pbaman for asking a simple question and criticizing that he/she is not doing research on the phone, perhaps you should read the other posts first. I posted the answer to the question in an earlier thread:
Here's how you do it:
Go to settings, sounds, call sounds, call vibrate, select "on". I tried it out and it will ring and vibrate at the same time.
Thanks and have a great day!

naw you posted it twice in the same thread, just wanted to give you a little zing
...
I think their problem was that they could not get it to vibrate silently for a few rings then ring with the audible tone. We all knew you can get it to ring ad vibrate at the same time. Most moto and samsung phone will not ring and vibrate at the same time.
...
I was looking to see if someone gave him the answer, but good job phetish
...
THE ONNLY WAY TO GET THE PHONE TO VIBRATE BEFORE THE RING IS IF YOU MAKE YOUR OWN RINGTONES. YOU WOULD HAVE TO ADD A BLANK SPACE BEFORE THE START OF THE ACTUAL RINNGTONE.
...
na, your wrong, now you can have it on any wolume level
...
It would be a nice feature. I had it in my samsungs and in my motos, but if I had to choose one or the other I would take the ring and vibrate at same time (which my other phones would not do). I like the vibrate feature to be able to feel a call but also want people to actually hear my obnoxious ringtones. I didn't pay good money for them not to force them onto others. 🙂

look at phonephetish's post

When I had my VX6000 i loved the vibe/ring at the same time feature in noisy places. I often left it on vibe only though since it was so strong. When I got the V710 I was not happy with the vibe 1st thing but since it was so weak I had no choice but to get used to it. I suggest using the vibe only more often, assuming its as strong as on the 6000.

okay i have had a bad experience in this forum so im gonna spread the feeling. If you were to do any research about motos and LGs you would know before you bought the phone that it would have vibe/ring at the same time. I guess someone didnt do their homework before they bought the phone.
