About VCAST ...
I am curious to know if the VCast monthly is absolutely required in order to get this phone because i talked to a rep the other day and she told me that to own the phone you have to pay the $15/month for the VCast feature ... I know some of you out there have this phone already or at least claim it ... i was wondering if this is true ... thanks

No, Vcast is optional. It is $15 a month but if you have VCast you do not have to pay for the $5 mobile web option so it is really an additional $10. It also increases web speed for your browser over standard mobile web.

hah im a verizon auth dealer myself... it is NOT required to have the vcast feature. personally i think its a waste of money but maybe someone will use that junk... so to answer your question no
