EV-DO over bluetooth
Does anyone know if it's possible to use EVDO connection over bluetooth? I know you can use regular dialup profile, but that's too slow.

I read up that bluetooth can support up to 715Kbs, that's faster than EV-DO... anyone tried to connect your bluetooth pda or laptop to the phone and get up to 200Kbs speed?

From what has been posted on here many times, I gather that VZW will not allow their phones to support that type of BT connection. It has been surmised that this may be a security issue - ala Paris Hilton and her hacked into T-Mobile sidekick. ???

VZW won't even allow you to access EV-DO with a Mobile office kit, connecting PC to EV-DO capable phone, because they want you to buy the Broadband Access Data plan.
