Upstate NY release date???
Should have been released today. Verizon pushed it up due to the Mot E815 situation.

I'm still waiting in the buffalo area. my verizon store has no clue, they said they have no demos yet or have heard of any shipments. whatever. i have til the 20th. if they aren't here by the 15th maybe i'll try ordering it, which is how a lot of you seemed to have done it so far.

UPNY will have it on the 15th! Got an e-mail sent over today that the release date is the 15th. Of course this can change. I know that agents will be able to ORDER it on the 15th, and corporate stores *should* have it on the 15th.

I actually have an E-815 (and really like it) but thought I'd share my experience with trying to get this phone. I'll also share some other thoughts.
"Upstate NY" is a VERY large place. I live in Albany and the corporate stores did NOT have the E815, even after TWO "release" dates. The story was that the Albany area is not yet an EvDO market, so the phone hasn't been released to the corporate stores here, even for special-orders. I got the phone I have at the Circuit City in Albany. The guy that helped me was VERY helpful, and even used his last 2 phones on me (one key was DOA). Apparently Circuit City locations (which happen to be corporate stores anyway) are allowed to release phones in markets that won't fully support them yet, t...
