How do people have the phone already?

Okay, today I called VZW because my 4400 is shutting off at random moments. Well, I don't get my NE2 till next month; but the guy who helped me out is going work around the system so I can get a new phone. He tried selling me the E815, but I asked him about the 8100 and the told me that he wouldn't be able to order it till tomorrow when the 'soft released' happened. Now I am concerned how these other people were able to get their phone before the 14th. The guy interacted with was in the Salt Lake City call center. Any ideas?

just have call everywhere and ask. Sorry but thats about it. I got mine at a mall kiosk today of all places. I couldn't find it ANYWHERE else. Just Perseverance about calling or going everywhere and even then you might just need to get lucky cause no one might not have it all in your area. Sorry man but just how it is right now. Good luck and remember it should be fully released in a few days anyways.

OH, I am happy. The guy is set to call me back tomorrow so we can order the phone. But he did say if he can't tomorrow, then by the 15th he could. *crossing fingers for tomorrow*
