Monday?!?

I just talked to a Verizon rep here in Indianapolis that said the phone would be available Monday morning at 9:00, and no sooner. Any other folks out there hear that in their investigating?

Two stores and VZW reps have said definite release on Friday. Most stores getting stock on Friday (or already have it and are lying!) 😢

Excellent - thanks for the reassurance. I was hoping that was the case. We are a little behind the times here in most cases, but that seemed inconsistent with everything I've read here.

The official release date is 7/15/05. I talked to the VZ reps at my local store (IOWA) and they said that they can start selling them friday. I also overheard that they get there trucks in on thursday. It's possible that some might sell the phone early.
