DIsplay theme/menu colors
Is there a setting I am not finding? I want to change the menu colors (the bars above and below the actual wallpaper) from the default red to something a little more inline with my wallpaper. Maybe something blue. I just picked up the phone this morning and the manual is at home, not in my office with me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i heard that you can change some bar settings, but you can't actually get rid of the red bars, i don't know exactly, read this on howardforums.com somewhere under verizonwireless part.
i don't have my phone yet (2 more hours!) but will try to post if i find out anything

Yea, I found a way to change the theme colors, but not the color of the bars themsleves, they stay red.

The red bars do not change, because that is part of the verizon standardized user interface, which LG has been using since the 7000. Thank god only LG has started using the new verizon ui

ok i know this is an old post but has anyone figured out if theres a way to change the color of the red bars.. i know theres not a setting that i can change it but maybe a hack of some sort

You can get rid of the bars, but you cannot change the color. If you turn of the ERI banner, the bars go away - at least the top one, that says "Verizon" - but if you do that, you lose the "Extended Network" indicater, if that matters to you.
