Battery??
How is the battery life on this phone? I currently have the 7000 and that battery will last me 2 days with no problems. Does the 8100 compare or at least last for a full day with no problems. Thanks in advance.

I love the battery life on my 7000 - best battery life of any phone I've used. As for the 8100 - I can't say for sure since I don't have mine yet (awaiting delivery), but if it's anything like the V710 I have as well, bluetooth power can suck the battery dry relatively quickly. I know it's like compairing apples to oranges - but overall, BT does take quite a bit of battery juice.

I'm sure it depends on how much talking you do on the phone. I'm going on day 2 right now without a charge... I still have 2 bars. But I haven't been on my phone much today.

Got my 8100 Monday afternoon. So far, I have had to charge it every night, but I have really been playing with it a lot. I am on the phone a lot when I'm in the car - I've put 400 minutes on the phone since Monday. I have watched about a dozen clips on VCast, downloaded about the same number of ringers via Get It Now, played with the settings, speaker phone, voice dialing, etc. I do believe I'm getting good battery life, given the amount of usage, but will probably pick up the extended battery when available.
