8100-Can you answer/end a call without opening flip +camera settings Question
Can you answer and end a call without opening the flip on the 8100?
Does anyone know if there are numerous camera settings like on the 8000? I know there's no macro flash and that the screen is crisper on the 8100. Just wondering about whether you have as many options to play around with the settings. Thanks!

yes there is a lot of camera settings including a bunch for resolution then there is your self timer flash white balance sound color effects and a night mode that i haven't played with yet the camera quality i definatly cant complain about compared to the 710 and ill compare to the e815 later today and the refresh rate is awesome on the 8100 no having to wait a couple seconds for it to clear up after moving. but don't expect it to be a full on digital but for a phone it is excellent for on the spot pics zoom isn't to great not to grainy but doesn't appear to be that much compared to my fiances 6100 or 6000 it doesn't seem to zoom as much but that may be just me hope that helps as for answering the phone closed not that i have been able to do...

I use the motorola HS850 Bluetooth headset with my 8100. I am able to make and reciece calls with the phone closed by using the the button on the headset. Making calls is easy with the voice dial features that the 8100 has, its takes a couple minutes to set up and the digit dial and voice dial is awsome. Hope that helps

The only way I can find to answer a call without opening the flip is if you are using a BT headset, in which case you can answer the call by hitting a button on the headset.
I tried answering calls, with the flip closed, several different ways -- speaker phone on, speaker off, etc. -- and could not make it work.
There is very little in the manual about the speaker phone, and it's not even listed in the index.

Thank you for letting me know. I'm sure some of this stuff will get ironed out over time. Since it's not in the manual, I'm glad I can check here to find out the scoop.
