pictures mysteriously deleted?
So my phone has been working great and then suddenly I went to look at my pictures and all of them had turned white. The only surviving picture was one that I had locked. Then the resolution on my camera screen went really blurry. I fixed that by reseting the phone but I can't even get the pictures that went all white to delete. I'm really not in the mood to take it to the verizon store so have any of you guys had this problem and have been able to fix it?

a couple of my pics that i emailed to my phone had gone white too, but i then started using my data cable, and aparently when i deleted the .dat files that correspond to the pics like you have to for the phone to read the pics i put on there it stopped doing that and hasn't done it since.

I'd either call or check at the verizon store... sorry i can't be of more help...

Hey TheMessenger83 - I assume you are using the new 8001 - if so, question: I have a data cable that fits 8001 as it is the same one for the 7000 and 8000. However, I need a driver for my laptop to recognize it. Can you tell me where you got yours or email it too me??

Mine has done this too., turn your phone off then back on.. and it should take care of it.. i noticed it happens after I have looked and the v-cast stuff...

My phone has started to do this again....
I tried to call 611 and get help and as i suspected, they couldn't help with anything about it. They told me to take it to a store, but it isn't something that happens on cue, so it is going to be difficult for them to see how it happens... I'll have try calling tech support in a couple of days again, hopefully then many other people have had the same issue and will be complaining...

I had the same thing happen to me the night i bought the phone. I had about 15 pictures saved, one in which was being used as my wallpaper. I was on Vcast, and then signed off and i noticed my wallpaper was set back to default. I went to re-assighn a pic as my background and all the pics were white. This would be something that i could overlook if it wasnt for the un-erasable blank slots in my gallary...

The same thing has happened to me twice now. And I have like 10 blank spots in my pix. Anyone else figure out how to fix this. You can not delete the "white" pix.

simple solution i found was to just power off/on the phone and the pictures came back. Only happened to me once so far, but sucks for a phone to have a bug like that!

I have experienced the mysterious missing pics syndrome on my phone. i have tried to turn on off many times including a reset your pics don't delete after a reset and they still have yet to show up in there place currently is a white square there so i have not been able to fix it.
