Which phone r u going to choose (MP3 player fans)
How many are actually going to be driving down the road playing MP3's through these speakers (can't hook it up to the car) and I'd rather play a game while waiting in line instead of "rocking out" on my cell phone.

I didn't buy the 8100 because it had an MP3 player (to me its nice but not necessary). I only bought it because of the wireless headset capability.

Right, and besides...an iPod shuffle is so much smaller and lighter than a cell phone.
BUT!!! Some of us would like to have a phone which CAN play mp3's because we cant carry an mp3 player with us as well as our phone(s). I'm a businesman and I already carry 2 phones for 2 different business interests. If I had the space to carry and use an iPod then I may miss a phone call (cos we all know that not all vibrates are created equal...) I wouldnt mind listening to music or an audiobook on my phone while sitting in the airport. Its not like the technology doesnt exist. And if the 8100 doesnt play mp3's, I aint gonna break down and cry about it. But I...

I have 3 phones, and they all serve their purpose. I'd love an IPod, but the fact that I can play mp3s with my moto 815 and 710, and the song pauses while an incoming call occurs, is awesome. I have a dongle that has stereo output to my car stereo... so even better. Not to mention you can buy a dongle that has a mic on it too, so not only does the music pause, but the call goes through, i can talk and hear out of my car stereo, AND the music resumes when the call is done.
Do you all think it's kind of funny that I still use a StarTac? But tomorrow I'll have a brand spankin new VX9100. I want know how to act, will I?
My reason for the mp3 player - ipods DONT HAVE A SPEAKER on them, who the hell wants to carry around a pair of headphones all the time, i have my phone all time, it has a speaker and i can listen to my podcasts on my down time at work... that is MY reasoning for the mp3 player - and my choice of e815.
As an added bonus the mini-sd cards really have no more advantage over the e815's micro-sd cards for capactiy. SanDisk announced 512mb in august, and 1gb in 2006, a while to wait yes, but i could micro-sd as being the standard down the road.
