using QPST
I have been away from the forum for a while, but was just wondering if u can use QPST on this phone as u could with the 8k and 7k. thx

just search for it on google (I dont have a link for it)...its a bitpim-like program. You can access the directory tree and stuff to manually upload files in the specified directory.

I've been messing with it all night using QPST 2.7 and it seems to work like a champ!! You can put in either .mp3 or .mid ringtones, but you have to remember to first delete the two myringtone.dat files after a reset or the newly transferred files won't take.
Oh, and for all to know, the cable that I'm using is the vzw verkulg6100 usb cable, and it works fine with the 8100. Hopefully pretty soon I'll have the whole thing all picked apart and understood.
