How do you link a bluetooth headset? Mine says no devices found

When I try to link my bluetooth headset I get the message no new devices found when it searches. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I would appreciate the help. Thanks

hm...my only suggestion would be to make sure that the device is on (and battery is decent strength) and in short range (not trying to insult your intelligence if you havent done this)

Do you have the headset in visablity mode? You will need to look at the directions that cam ewith your headset to see how you do this. Its usually holding the power button for about 10 seconds.

First make sure you turn on the bluetooth on your phone. What headset do you have? It took me about 30 seconds to pair my Moto HS850.
