I couldnt wait to get the 8100.I love my 4400b with s/w version 10 the best phone ever...
NOW I am not so sure if I want to change.
Is the 8100 mobilweb a lot quicker than say the a LG VX7000?Will the reception be as good as my 4400?Speaker phone-is it good enough going down the road in a quiet car?IS there any othre 4400 users that have jumped to this phone ?Are you happy?
THANKS

I jumped... I love my new phone, it could be b/c i shattered my 4400. But overall I like the new phone. It's fun to have a camera and bluetooth. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I'm hoping that I won't. I don't know about the mobile web I didn't use it on my 4400. Reception is good, but nothing will be as good as the 4400. I'm happy though. With all the bells and whistles it didn't take much to facinate this 4400 user. 😁

I was a 4400 user for the past two years or better. I picked up the 8100 on Monday, have put about 500 voice minutes on it so far, used vcast, web, get it now, a BT headset, played with the camera and also the speaker phone. I really like the 8100. I think it's a great phone.

We have the EVDO service in my area, so yes, the web does load much more quickly than it did with the 4400 and just 1x service.
