Question about the flip

NokeDawg

Does anyone ever notice when they flip the phone open, if you do it slowly, on the way up it seems to rub just slightly? It doesn't do it on the way down, but does it every so slightly when opening it up.

I am wondering what that rubber piece right at the hinge itself is?

Anyone's thought on what that is?

I think that is to "buffer" the flip back of the phone so it isn't plastic against plastic. Does yours seem to rub a little bit when you open it? It's not like something that is keeping it from opening, but you can feel it doing it a little bit when you open it.

Does not seem to rub against it at all on mine.

Feels just like all my other LG phones have when I open them.

Maybe yours is loose or something and is moving too close to it?

Mine dosen't either. If it is ever so slightly, it's so much so that I don't notice. And, the rubber piece IS a buffer so the phone doesn't get scratched at the top when it opens/closes.

Mine doesn't rub either. Try blowing some "dust-off" into the hinge area, in case some tiny debris got lodged in there. 😛
