I just paired my phone to my laptop. I need all of your expertise what do I need for software to try to transfer files to the phone. Please help as I am excited that this is totally unlocked.

If you only paired bluetooth with the dialup networking and serial port services, you can use your phone as a slow modem but you have not yet opened up the ability to transfer files. You need the OBEX profile to do that and the phone is specifically documented not to support that. Sorry.
