Someone please figure it out...
Someone please figure out how to get custom ringtones onto this phone from source other than "Get It Now" or using the data cable. I am on mac and do not think I can get the correct drivers for my computer. I am jonesing for my star trek ringers but the only verizon application that has them is Xringer and it is not compatible with this phone.

Thats what you get for owning only a mac.

and that's also what you get for wanting startrek ringers! haha.

We don't pay for virus protection because we don't need it. So you just keep throwing money at Bill the thief Gates. And our **** don't crash.
...
Using BITPim, delete \dload\myringtones.dat and \dload\myringtonesize.dat.
Now rename your MP3's to *.mid and copy them to \brew\lm\mr
Reset your phone and you will then be able to play MP3's as your ringtones.
There is a 2mb limit on MP3 ringtones, so get some small ones.

WHAT???? explain that again?

I believe you can buy a little bluetooth device that will transfer info via bluetooth. No cable. It also depends what version of software you are using. Should work with 10. I got one but haven't tried it yet. It looks like a little stick that plugs into your USB port. Made by Belkin. Has a blue flashing light on it. Your phone has a setting for Bluetooth device that you probably have to set.
And don't listen to those windows people who pay for virus software and deal with crashes. We know we are the superior race.

i got it. bought my card today and have songs on my phone. first format the card on your phone. it should of come with an adapter to read it as a regular SD card. With the right reader it mounts an image on the desktop. open that till you are in the folder my mp3s. next you can import the songs as mp3s into itunes. i used the cd's i had and created a new library for my mp3's. once imported into that library i just drug the ones i wanted to the folder for mp3's from the phone. just like dragging from a camera card. presto everything working great. 😁 of course you must have the update 1st. rumor has it that soon you will able to do it through a bluetooth devise, once the upgrade itunes for phones
