I'm only going to say this once

I'm a little confused by all of the posts on here...some say it will read mp3s...some say it won't...so I'm here to set the record straight.

I have been able to copy MP3 files directly to my phone using a LG VX7000 data cable and software called QPST...or you could also use BITPIM. I have had no problems with the phone reading the .mp3 extension. However, it is probably best to follow the instructions and change the extension to .qcp for best compatibility with the phone. (you do this by going to tools/folder options/then select the view tab/then make sure HIDE EXTENSIONS FOR UNKNOWN FILE TYPES IS _UNCHECKED_!!!) Then go back to your mp3 files and just change the end of the file name to .qcp - very easy)

Read the original post in this thread for everything you want to know - just take the entire post and put it in your wordpad or something...there is no need for any more posts on this topic unless someone figures out how to use the buttons on the front of the phone.
