If this phone was offered by another carrier also, uncrippled-- would you switch carriers?

No, in my area, from my observations and conversations with others, Verizon has better coverage in most situations. If everything else was equal, then I might think about it, but not for the coverage difference at this time. Also, I've been with Verizon for 12 years -- Cellular One in my area before Verizon was formed -- and whenever I do have an issue, and have to call customer service, I have always gotten instant satisfaction. That's worth a lot in my book.
