Hands Free Profile
Does anyone know if this phone supports a hands free profile? I switched my headset to Jabra BT250 and to get advanced features, you need the hands free profile.

Yes. I just added the BT250V yesterday. You can use the main button on the headset to activate the voice command menu, redial last call, switch between calls, etc. I know the Jabra has two sets of instructions, one specifically for phones like the 8100 - I didn't discover the second set of inst. until after I linked the headset, but everything stilll works fine.

They are in the Jabra manual, a page or two after the setup instructions, as I recall. I'm at the office now and don't have that stuff with me.

Actually for me the switch between calls feature doesn't work. I know I read another post where someone said the same thing. I think if you try answering a call waiting call you will find that this feature doesn't work right now from this headset. Lets hope the next version of the software on the phone fixes this. From my understanding this feature works fine using this headset with other phones. If you find that it does work for you to switch between calls with the headset button on your 8100 please post how you did it.
