LG VX-8100

Beta Software????

I am not sure if I read this correctly but on Howard Forums - someone mentioned that the 8100 actually only had beta software in it because Verizon apparently rushed it to the marketplace. I presume the inference is that when permanent software is installed then may of these problems (large and small) will dissipate.

Good lord, that is one of the most coherent comments I've read on this site. Even if it isn't Beta Software, I'm sure there will be bug fixes. It's software for heavens sake... Software is never perfect.

Yeah, that's true but it looks like Verizon spends a lot of time in "testing" --don't the testers have these problems then.
