Best way to get pics to phone?

Is there a guide somewhere for sending pics to the 8100?

I've got a couple pics I'd like to set as a wallpaper, but not sure what size I should make them, or the best method to get them into the phone.

As of now, I have no USB cable.

Any help would be appreciated.. thanks! 🙂

This is what I've done (I don't have a data cable). I logged in to vzwpix.com. They have an option to upload media (this is if you have the pictures loaded on your computer). I uploaded the pictures I wanted and then sent them to my phone from there (go to Create Message after the pics have been uploaded).

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help.. my kid are comfortably residing on my desktop now, instead of the rather lame wallpaper that came with the phone. 😁

I have the 256MB Mini SD with the reader that I got from Best Buy. I can get any .jpg file, copy it to the disk and when I put it in the phone, they all pop up under pix and can be used as wallpaper. Looks incredible.

Yeah, pics with the card work great 😁 Just one pain in the a$$: If you set a pic from the card as a wallpaper it disappears if you take out the card, unless you copy it to the phone. But it doesn't copy> it, it moves it so it's no longer on the card 😡
Haven't tried videos yet, but I plan to later today.
As for MP3's and ringtones, ringtones work by saving on the card under My Sounds in .mid format, via data cable and QPST or BitPim or by emailing via vzwpix. So far I have only been able to play MP3's by data cable and QPST and bringing up the 'hidden' Media Player from the '0' menu.
I haven't gotten this player to recognize any files on the card though. I'm still trying. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this?
