LG VX-8100
signal strenght
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to increase the signal strength? I was having volume problems as well as signal problems so I took the first 8100 back this morning and got another....thinking I got one in the "bad" batch. I have an old phone and it has a better signal than this one. Verizon said there isn't anything they can do and LG said it was Verizon's problem.

i would have to agree the signal is not all that great on this phone when comparing it to the 6000 or even the 6100 where i live in wis last night i was rolling down 310 up here and i had no signal whatso ever it kep saying looking for signal.. this whole time the 6000 and 6100 had full bars in extended service up here 6000 digital only main comparison 6100 tri mode not much of a differance between the 6000 and 6100 but the 8100 couldnt finad a signal.. just some food for thought but i got my replacement today so ill have to see if its just the that phone or phones..
