If you expect anyone on this forum to respect your initial post, you are out of your mind. If you want to tout the 815 over the 8100, that's fine; post a complete, fact-filled review, listing the pros and cons of both phones, and then a concise explanation of why you prefer the 815 over the 8100. Unless, and until, you can do that, SHUT the H#$% UP!!! There has been entirely too much childish bashing and posturing on these forums. If you can't give specifics, STAY HOME ALONE and GET THE HE$$ OFF THIS FORUM!!!!!!
A lot of the posts appear to be opinion based. Quite a few of the posts that do contain "specifics" are contradicted by others. But the majority are the same questions being asked over and over. Not that there is no useful information on here. It just takes time to filter thru the dross to find it. And 'useful' is defined by how involved you actually want to get into it. Learning about bitpim and renaming files so they can be played on your phone, etc etc is only useful info if you wish to get that deep into it.
There sems to be a certain amount of "fanaticism" associated with this phone. I havent looked...

If you did your research than you should know that every model of motorola carried by verizon since the v60I has been plagued with issues. The mo120e, mo720, mo730, mo60p, mo60s, mo265, mo710, mo343! All of these were considered great phones when they came out, and all of them became every sales person's worse nightmare 3 to 6 months later as they all started rolling back in! Bad microphone!, screen freezes up or turns black, entire phone locks up, buttons stop working, volume issues, and the number one issue here is faulty charging ports. Take it from someone who sells phones, when you sell a customer equipment you don't want to see that customer until there ready to get a new phone in a year or two, if you want to see them before th...
