I think I'm gonna return the 8100 and get back my old vx6000 and wait a few months. Maybe Lg will fix some of the issues with the phone and I'll just purchase the newer version of the phone.

Another reason besides the issues with the phone is that I feel cheated for paying 100 dollars with the ne2 and another 100 for the moto bluetooth headphone and having a phone that has its most interesting features like bluetooth mp3 player and custom ringtones crippled just so verizon can charge their outrageous $2 for a 15 second ringtone plus the airtime usage and data transfer. I'm even contemplating on dropping the money hungry whore vzw and switching to cingular where they dont cripple the features that are already available on the phones.
