Hey, Mary, (I know this sounds stupid), can you check your SW version for me, please? And one other thing (since your phone isn't giving you any problems - I wish I had your luck!). Okay, here's the thing:
IF you don't have any texts in your inbox, send yourself a text message. (something like "test"). If you DO have at least 1 mess. in your inbox, don't worry about sending yourself a text.
THEN, send yourself a pix message.
Once you get the PIX message, simply erase.
Now, can you tell me if the erased pix message was replaced by a message that looks like this:
????????????????????
And when you open it, says "Failed to play video"

All is correct, except, I didn't set MP3's to play as a ringtone, I just put them on my phone to listen to them.

There is absolutely NO delay in the camera. I press ok and it takes the pic immediately and the pic on the phone is the one I just took. No changes at all, it dosn't take a second pic.

Thanks for checking that out, Mary. I went to my VZW store and they suggested trying one more phone, as they said it could've been a small batch. They didn't have any more in stock, so I went to another store and got one. SAME THING!! Oh well, this must DEFINITELY be software, or something!!

Trust me, you were a big help! I'm glad to know that I've kinda figured out where those ?????? messages were coming from b/c at first I thought it was random. Thanks again for checking those things for me! Now I know that it's happening (under the same circumstances) for someone else. By the way, I don't know if I mentioned that the way to get those ??????? to disappear is to turn the phone off and back on. 😁
