1. You have to convert your video to .3gp format (I use this free program with the following parameters)

The link for the free conversion software is below

http://fever.link.free.fr/SUPER.html »

The video format should be as follows:

Video: Size 176x144, FPS 15, bitrate 140, HQ

Audio: sampling 22050, channels 2, bitrate 64

2. Save it to your pc and email it to your phone ([email protected]) - you may have to try this a few times until you have full signal on your phone

3. Save the attached video

4. Got to My Flix and play

5. Viola!

PS - You can also use the videos as wallpaper on the front/main screen

That worked !!!! = ) My favorite music videos are on my phone now - I have a video IPOD/PSP that doubles as a phone now. No 15 second filming of the LCD monitor anymore.

thanks again

are you using a MiniSD card or emailing it to your phone? I haven't tried emailing videos to my phone yet, but I imagine the bigger the file the harder it is, except for using the card which seems to take any legitimate 3gp file. I've been trying to convert some music videos off of a DVD but no luck yet. Just downloaded some user-hostile program that has no instructions and doesn't seem to work at all.

Just had to comment on the user-hostile remark. That term cracked me up! 🤣 I am feeling your frustrations!

I transfered the files through the MiniSD card. I have two music videos that are probably 7MB each and play for four minutes roughly. The timer no longer says 15 seconds - it shows the actual length of the video. It's what i've always dreamed of. a DVR with a 1 inch screen = ).

Looking for a little help. I have converted video into .3gp format using Super and Quicktime. I have followed all instructions as written. I transfer the files to my SD card and they show up in the my flix folder on my phone but will not play. It just shows a blank white screen with 00:00 for the time. Some videos work and some don't... Anyone else have this problem? Are there only certain types of video that can properly be converted to .3gp? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.
