8100 sound problems

I just recently got my 8100 and the first day I was prety disappointed with it. I too had the problem where it seemed like the sound was going in and out during a call.

What I later discovered was this problem (for me at least) had a lot to do with how I was holding the phone to my ear. I found that if I have the tip of the flip phone at the center of my ear (almost like you are trying to put the phone in your ear), all my calls got very clear. My previous phone was the 4400 and I never had to worry about this before and to be honest it fealt a little weird at first but now I sort of got used to it. When I just hold the tip of the phone to the center of my ear I don't have the problem of increasing/decreasing volumes during a call.
