I feel cheated
I have to tell you, the 2nd lg is going back. I have gone to the other side and after playing with it for the last 3 hrs, it has been a good phone so far. I need to stress the word phone...I make calls, I receive calls, I hear calls, no dropped calls, no anoying feedback from speaker. I may get the lg next year after updates, but according to lg, they are not aware of the problems even after many of people have contacted. Most verizon reps act surprised as well. I just can't wait for the updates, I needed a working phone now. I don't know what the future holds for this one, it may be a dud as well, but look at the cost, oh there was no cost it was free as opposed to the extra $50.00 I paid for the lg. I din't was to jump ship, it was a nice ...

I'm with you. I've mentioned it so many times on this forum... the primary function of a phone is P H O N E ...it has to be a telephone first and foremost. The extras are nice, but I want to make and receive TELEPHONE CALLS!!! Do you hear me now, Verizon???????

How's the bluetooth on it? Is there a lot of static? I'm contemplating switching because people I've talked to using while using the BT250 have said I sounded "muffled, echoed or static".

☹️Same here. I could not deal with the volume problem (about 50% of calls) and returned the 8100 for the (gasp) Samsung 890. Using the sammy (which many in this forum might suggest is a vastly inferior phone) all the calls come in just fine, like my old vx10. Funny that with all of the toys and goodies the thing I missed the most was using a phone to make and receive calls without problems. In case anyone wonders why I didn't get the 815, I just thought that phone felt cheap (although it has the most gorgeous screen I have ever seen on a flip phone). I hope that LG fixes the 8100 for all of you folks that waited (like me, for four months!) and intend to keep it. We all pay (sometimes a lot) for our phones and service and deserve qualit...
