Help with ringtones

With my old 7000 I could chop an mp3 down to 20 seconds, rename it .mid and send it in a pix message to my phone to make free ringtones. I can almost do this on my new 8100 but when I save the sound file on my phone it goes in the "sounds" file not the "ringtones" file. Anyone know an easy workaround for this? I searched quite a few posts and couldn't find it. I'd rather not buy a cable or flash card but will if i have to.

Me too...Me too! My son has the 7000 and has some really great voice message ringtones set...I would love to know how to make mine do the same thing...
