Has anyone use Get It Now for ringtones?? How does it work?

Has anyone used the any of the get new ringtones features--true tones, ringtones, fun tones, etc? I was thinking of trying the VZW tones under true tones, but wasn't sure how it works and how they charge you. It says 2.99 for 1 use, 5.49 for 2 uses, 9.99 for 4 uses, but then under "info" it says it allows you to purchase clips. So if I get charged 2.99 for 1 use, do I still have to pay more fees to purchase clips after that? I have no idea how it works so I was hoping someone may have used it before and could help me out.

I've been using "VZW Tones" under "True Tones" and they work great. Sounds like theres a mini amp built in the phone. Sounds pretty good. But I did see that you CAN download "clips" of songs and I cant find anywhere in "vzw tones" about video clips!? Anyone?? 🙄

So when you use the VZW tones, and I have 1 use, does that mean I pay 2.99 and have one chance to download ringtones they have? Is there a limit on how many I can get? Just wondering what is the difference and why I would want more than 1 use.

I have purchased ringtones from My Tonz, Modtones, and Ringster 3.0. I know, stupid me, I dropped around $20, I think. Anyway, I bought multiple download packages from Modtones and Ringster, something like 8 from each, and only one from My Tonz. My Tonz had a song I couldn't find on the other two. I like the packages I have, but the music defitely sounds synthetic. I'm done spending money on that c*&p, so probaly won't try any of the others. Although, I have to believe that one of the other sites must offer "premium" sounding tunes.

Oh, and to answer your question, one use only lets you download one ringtone. I have assigned different ringtones to several different people in my phone book - e.g., a buddy of mine is a Marine, so he ...

Well I tried the VZW tones and did the 1 use $2.99 thing. When I connected to the site, I got to preview a bunch of different songs (which by the way sound pretty good) and eventually I picked one to purchase. I got a couple of different options (can't remember exactly what they were), but I chose to set it as a VZW default ringer. So now that song is in my call ringtones menu. When I tried going into VZW tones later I didn't have any more credits, but was still able to preview the songs. I am sure the fee is just for downloading the tune and not for each use of the ringer..that would be nuts!

No. It means you get to download one ringtone, for permanent use, to your phone. As you check out all the different tones available, they let you sample them - about 10 seconds - but you have to use a credit (one use) to download the tone to your phone.

Don't give Verizon any more ideas! 😳 🤣

As for how it works, you get charged $3 for a tone that you could get free if you used any other provider, you bleed rectally from the ridiculous overcharge and price gouging/raping thgat you just received, then everytime the phone rings you realize that the sore *** you have is due to your choice of being forced to choose an overpriced profiteering glutton for a service provider due to coverage limitations by other providers in yor area. The laternative is to crack the phone like has been mentioned here many times before and save your booty.

VZW tones (ztango, I think) is great! A little costly, but definitely true tones. I got Incubus "Are You In" and Spamalot "Always Look on the Bright side," and they sound fine 🙂 Definitely teacky, but fine 🤣 🤣 😎
