Bought the Logitech Mobile Freedom. Haven't tried it yet. Also ordered Cardo Scala 500. Will post a review when I've tried both. Also thinking of Plantronics M250 or Voyager 510. Heard they were bulky but good sound. Using the Moto 850. Voice recognition works great. Sound a little low. Outgoing call - instant connect. In-coming call - phone rings, headset beeps twice and there is a several second delay before it connects. Works, but not really crazy about it. Had the Jabra 250 & 250v before. Was great for a couple of days till voice recognition just f****d up. Exchanged it for 2 other units but had the same problem. Techs checked out phone and said no problems. Ghost in the phone? Works fine with the 850, so I guess it doesn't like Jabra. A...

I had a similar problem with the Jabra 250 also. I would ask for messages and it would call voicemail. When I hit the call button the phone says "Please say a Command"-- what I would hear sometimes is "Say a Command" cause it cut the please off.

Also it's irritating when someone calls you and you hit the initate call button--there's a two second delay before the call gets routed to the headset.

I'm probably going to start looking at other headsets if the software fixes don't work on this phone.

Scratch the Logitech. No redial or call waiting. Uncomfortable fit, spring in earloop presses against ear. Going to return it and try the Plantonics M250.

Plantronics M2500: Static, echo and extremely loud on receiving end. Very hard to turn on and off (on/off button - volume one-in-the same. Twice walked out of range and had to reset. Started to get the same problem with voice command not recognizing names. Back it goes and will wait for Scala 500. It seems voice command on 850 is just about flawless. It's a shame the rest of It sucks. 😲 😲 😲

Mortfe:

FYI, the Scala also uses the same button for on/off and the volume, similar to the 2500. But the placement of the button is ok and better than on the M2500. You just have to hold the button down for about 5 seconds to turn on and about 3 to turn off. My favorite feature about the Moto 850 was the ability to quickly turn off and on by flipping the boom mic. But I just couldn't deal with the comfort issue at all and I didn't like the sound quality. But I guess you can't have everything.
