Hi everyone,
I've been having only slight luck in getting a video to show on the 8100. I'm using the "super" converter to change a wmv to a sony 3gp, with all the settings in other posts. It seems that my image is not keeping up with the sound. Anyone please help me. The ones who have gotten this to work are you starting with a wmv format or other??

Any help would greatly be appreciated,, I'm holding on to this phone.
LG FAN,
Rick

I'll email anyone my files i've been using.

how does the flick play on the computer?
In sync?
If so then put your phone on "standalone" mode, that might help.
I believe it frees up rescources not haveing to to its net and phone chores and lets it concentrate on the video at hand.

ok, I downloaded megable and theres no icon to start the program. The folder on the "Start" menu only allows me to read the "txt" or "uninstall". Am I doing something wrong? 🙄

heres help with xilisoft:
I open Xilisoft then right click under the "name" colum and choose "add" then find my scource file "movie to be re-encoded".
once the movie is listed with a checkbox next to it I click on it to highlight it.
then the parameters on the right are changeable.

Under "summery/ video"
I choose "mpeg4"
then for video size I put it at 176x144.
bitrate is up to you mine says 40, Ive heard 96 is nice but bigge file size, play around with that...
HOpe that helps
Also, I made good movies but they wouldnt play until I shortened the filename.
Charlie.And.The.Chocolate.Factory.CAM.VCD-BaP H

Here's how I upload a music video onto my 8100.

1. I reformated my video to .3gp using Super.

2. I hooked up my 8100 to my comp using a usb data cable that I bought from EBay for $3.00. (the 6100 and 7000 data cable works on 8100)

3. Got QPST to recognize and set up my phone.

4. Under the DLOAD directory, I deleted the two files called video.dat and videosize.dat .

5. I uploaded my video under brew/16452/mf .

6. Resetted my phone and watched my music video.

I don't know what the maximum capacity is for videos but if anyone does please reply. Thanx

Ok, i used mpegable and it seems to work awsome. I do have some problems with size on some videos. The ones that do convert correctly to 176x144 are originally sized 320x240 and anything of a different size will convert to the smaller size but the actual picture or video wont show up on my phone. The audio works fine though. Any solutions? Please let me know.
