I'm sure this has been discovered on a previous thread, but with my camera, I only get a delay on the highest res 1280x960. I can't really tell the difference between all of them anyway. Just thought I'd mention it.

I typically use 640x480. At this setting you can use the zoom feature. I have found the pictures to be as good as the higher resolution, but I still get the delay intermittently (actually, more often than not). One thing I am having trouble with is the brightness. This thing takes great pictures if the lighting is just right, but I have really had to play with it in lower lighting.

I would have to agree with the lighting its hard to get it just right. I also wish you could zoom in high res like you could on the 8000. I thought the 8000 camera was better but i'll trade that to have a smaller phone.

Everyone will have a 1 second delay on the highest resolution, but there should be NO DELAY on any other res.

You must have gotten a better phone than everyone else. I experience delays on all resolutions. The lower the resolution, the shorter the delay but not much shorter.
