Look what cellularchoices.net offers with their Verizon LG VX8100

I found this site and they offer the 8100 with an MP3 palyer and 72 ringtones, mine has 15?

Hmmm, not sure if they got their info correct, but regardless, the 8100 is only offered for Verizon, which also shows on this link, so it's going to be the exact same features/ringtones, etc.

free after rebates, thats a good deal. im not sure what the pro/cons are from buying off a site like that. I heard some impose their own early termination fee on top of verizons. not sure though. 72 ringtones, whats up with that. thats cool too.

they probaly meant it has 72 chord for ringtones,if you read the specs!!!just a thought...i could be wrong

So you get the phone free - $50 from Verizon plus $150 from Amazon, for a new line of service.

It's same phone --no half a billion ringtones, just the same 15.

As far as it being completely free with rebate, the $50 is the normal Verizon one --the other $150 rebate is theirs, BUT you have to wait 3 months before you can send it in.

They do, however (at least how I understand it), give you a full 30 days to try the phone out.

Also, if any of your Verizon service bills are paid late within the first 6 months, they'll charge you a $250 fee!!!
