phone resetting when checking inbox, anyone else?
I got the 8100 3 weeks ago. Within a couple of days my phone would occassionally reset (that is it started up without shutting down) when i checked my inbox (left soft key, scroll down to inbox, ok OR left soft key, press 3). This would happen a couple times a day. Within a few days it was happening about 10 times a day. I took the phone in and it was replaced. Three days into my new phone the same thing has started again! Any ideas? I am pretty sure I am not doing anything wrong. I do send a ton of texts, so this is really annoying.

Go back to the store and get a new fone and tell them you DO NOT want the contacts transfered. You may have a virus in the phone. Pain in the ass to rewrite all those contacts but its worth it to have a phone that works

I haven't had that problem, but when I went to exchange my phone last weekend, for some reason they weren't able to transfer the contacts from the old phone to the new one. But I had used the demo of the get it now backup assistant and backed up my contacts beforehand. I restored them using that and called verizon cust service to have them credit me back the $1.99.
