Phone Problems
After reading all these forums, it sounds like a lot of you guys that are messing around with BitPim - QPST and fooling with the MP3 crap, are the one's having many of the problems. Not denying that VZW f****d around with the software, could it be that you're causing more of the problems? I have used my phone straight out of the box, as is, and the only problem I've had was a dropped volume ONE time in a bad cell area. I'm from the old school. I bought the 8100 because I liked the phone. It had BT and excellent Voice Command. That was my main interest, not having to mess with the phone when driving. Did VZW f**k up the phone. Definitely. I've said it before, but here I go again. I don't believe VZW disabled the MP3 player out of greed. Why would they leave it on the Moto E815 if it were greed? And regarding Radio Shack no longer selling VZW service, I work for another VZW agent and have had numerous complaints from customers who were not set up properly from Radio Shack or were not told certain things or even provided with important information. Our local Radio Shack does not even provide loaners if they need to send a phone in for service. They send them to us! From what I hear from other agents, this is typical of Radio Shack. VZW has very strict requirements of agents. They want their agents to provide the same customer service as their direct store to reduce the...

Radioshack did not dump VZW for cingular get ur facts straight. They are gonna stop selling verizon for the time being because their contract with them has expired so for the time being they are gonna sell nextel which BLOWS!!!($70 a month walkie talkie) and cingular. Then when their contract ends they'll begin to sell VZW

Radio Shacks phone sales are way down and verizon probably isnt paying them as much any more cause they are not selling very many phones. Thats why they switched to Cingular
