Question about SD Card

So my gf found a mini sd card for 8100, but before she gets it i want to make sure it will work for the 8100 cause ive been hearing from people 512 mini sd is the biggest it will take.
Can someone let me know

Some people have said it will take a 1GB card. I have no first-hand experience, but you might want to do a search on this forum.

There has been a lot of talk about the miniSD card.
