I work at VZW and there r probs with this phone!

I work in custcare. I've had no calls about issues with the phone. But I think the reason behind this is cuz not many people have it!
My phone will ring when its on sounds off or vibrate
Sometimes the call vol will go up and down
I do get the ??????? txt messages
Bottom line there are issues. They will be fixed. I dont know when.
There has not been any updates to any VZW worker about these issues. So if they say they havent heard ne thing they mean it. The only reason I know is because I have the phone.

Thats Bull SH** so your telling me that my verizon store is lieing to me when they tell me that there is a software update to fix the volume problem on the 8100 and it will be available next week?
Cuase not only do the stores here in Wichita,Ks say that but the customer care *611 also say the same thing

If a verizon rep knows anything about the update they are either a tech or are on the in becasue they have this phone and have been aking around, Verizon will not formally let all the employees know there is an update until there is an update! If it is coming then it is very possible the person you talk to might know nothing about it if they have not been checking around for it, it is not like verizon has sent an employee email out or posted it on the internal site. The only reason i know about it is because we hounded the lg rep! It is just like phone release dates, a majority of verizon employees don't know until verizon actually posts or sends out the updated info, everything else is hear say and should not be forwarded onto customers.
