Random Question!?!?

**Haha, ok this is random. Anyone know what happens or how it happens when (every once in awhile) you send a text to someone, and they get a *duplicate* of the same message. Sometimes happens repeatedly!** ???

Hmmm... Maybe this...
When you send any kind of message to another cell, the cell generally recieves and confirms with the network that it has been recieved. If it is not confirmed, the message will be re-sent at a later time to the handset... reasons: phone is out of service area or off. Same reason sometimes you get voicemail like a day later(Because the network will wait a progressivly longer amount of time each time it is re-sent). If it recieves a message and immediately falls out of service after, or is turned off, or battery dies, etc. It might not have the chance to confirm and then is re-sent before it confirms. Maybe not, but just maybe.

Just wanted to mention, that this has happened to me a few times with OTHER phones, not the 8100 yet, so I think it is just a randon thing and NOT a problem with the 8100. Some of the reasons make since that Doriansportrait just posted.

I've had it happen to me. I think it's a network issue.

Any other thoughts??

😕
